Our 10-year reunion was a blast!
The reunion began for quite a few of the class of 1992 at the Dew Drop Inn on Friday, April 26. Chad McPherson summoned us there for an informal happy hour, which turned into quite a few happy hours.
Leah Persilver (now Portalatin) had us all singing karaoke, and the beer flowed.
That happy "hour" made Saturday morning's picnic come a tad too early for some of us. But that event was great too. Everyone brought their kids (you wouldn't believe how many there were), and they enjoyed taking swings at a couple of pinatas.
We had quite a party at the KC Hall on April 27, 2002. About 70 members of the class of 1992 plus their significant others and friends showed up. We talked, drank, talked, drank and danced all night.
There was so much reminiscing going on that we had to delay the dance for an hour to give people enough time to catch up (oh, and try to float the keg). Then, we were having so much fun that we took up a collection to be able to stay for an extra hour in the hall. When 1 a.m. came, there was still at least 50 people there still dancing and catching up. We had to kick them out so the security guards and bartenders could go home.
Overall, it was a great time! If you missed it, you can see it all by purchasing reunion memory book for only $ 10. We're taking orders for them right now, and they'll be mailed out sometime in June.
